Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, inclusive of physical assessments and thorough medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through detailed analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical care plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating theaters, ensuring patient setup, and efficiently managing surgical instruments
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication delivery, wound management, discharge preparation, and patient education

Education Day

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• A preference for candidates with clinical rotations focused on surgical practice

Required Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
