Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and provide short-term psychotherapy utilizing case management, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to individual, family, and group modalities, including Intensive Outpatient Programs.

• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling services for clients experiencing mental health challenges and dual disorders, focusing on solutions through evidence-based practices.
\n
• Utilize telehealth platforms to perform crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, couple counseling, and family therapy.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team, including licensed psychologists and psychiatrists, to assess treatment options and coordinate care consistently.

• Regularly assess and document client progress, maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, and prepare reports pertinent to client care.

• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in clinical team meetings and quality management activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to serve veterans and their families, many of whom may be dealing with complex mental health issues stemming from their service. You will be instrumental in providing compassionate care to clients facing various challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Your role will not only contribute to their immediate therapeutic needs but will also play a significant part in their long-term recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current LMFT license or equivalent degree (such as a Psy.D or LCSW) valid in New York State.

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• At least two years of experience providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records, demonstrating an ability to adapt to technology in client care.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 125,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits that include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
