Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $27.92 per hour, plus a $.50 cent shift differential per hour.

What You'll Do:

In this function, you will:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues.
• Install, repair, and/or fabricate new equipment and components as needed.
• Supporting the Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through completion of action cards and rapid response activities.
• Support physical transformation and continuous improvement (GDP) initiatives throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Position Success Criteria:

Ability to operate Rigging Equipment to include nylon straps, wire braded straps, wire braded chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment and spreader bars. Ability to wear Fall protection Body Harness and lanyard
