Possession of a valid North Carolina Driver's License. Must maintain a safe driving record. Knowledge of safety precautions and hazards associated with job.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeasures, cuts, threads, assembles and installs pipes and tubing.Eliminates leaks by replacing valves or by replacing faulty fittings or sections in line.Installation/Replacement of plumbing fixtures ie: toilets, water coolers, water heaters, and faucets.Drain maintenance and unclogging drains.Replace worn parts.Repairs to irrigation systemsPrepare work ordersAssist other trades when neededPerform all other duties as assigned by supervisorPhysical Requirements (if applicable)Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicleRequires the ability to climb and maneuver on ladders, scaffolding, and/or in tight spacesMust be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipmentMust be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objectsSpecial Requirements (if applicable)Ability to use and care for tools and equipmentAbility to follow directionAbility to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with building staff and associatesDisclaimerThis job description is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within the job.
