The Category Manager role is responsible for scaling a book of enterprise partners in the Elevated Home category, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth
• Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently
• Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, operations, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistics solutions to all sellers
• Update active sellers on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in e-commerce business
• Track record of delivering & exceeding sales, GMV, or other commercial goals
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• A good team player, a fast learner, and open to changes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred
• Strong connections with brands and distributors are preferred

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $159600 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
