Position: Full-Time (Immediate) – Daily Pay available; Pay starting at $19.29 per hour; Must have weekend availability. Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is a unique 130-bed skilled nursing facility, specializing in behavioral and mental health. 80% of our residents are fully independent and can get themselves up and dressed in the morning. Role Assists in the creation, planning, and implementation of the Connections program – the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure maximum levels of resident leisure contentment as well as physical, mental, and psychological well-being. Responsibilities Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Connections activity program for the community. Assist in the planning and posting of a monthly calendar of events, monthly newsletter, and coordination of special events and programs. Assist in arranging and, at times, rendering transportation for the residents. Work closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs. Requirements High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field (Preferred). Previous experience in healthcare or service-related setting (Preferred). Must be at least 16 years old with a valid state driver’s license (Required).
