Team members join a client-focused environment that values service, professionalism, and market expertise. Role Description The Bookkeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Springfield, MO. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including posting transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Daily tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, recording expenses and income, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports. The Bookkeeper will work within accounting software systems to ensure data integrity, support month-end and year-end closing activities, and assist with audits or financial reviews as needed. The role collaborates with management and other team members to provide timely financial information that supports business decision-making and compliance. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including experience with journal entries and day-to-day transaction recording Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and related financial reports Proficiency with accounting software and general finance concepts Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in a business or insurance/financial services environment preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
