Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $390/hour (all-inclusive)
- Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit

What You'll Do
- Provide anesthesia support for general surgical cases, including high-acuity inpatient surgeries (ASA 3+)
- Float between sister sites (Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Ortho Institute, Parnassus, Burlingame) supporting outpatient and inpatient procedures
- Collaborate with CRNAs and work independently in a tertiary hospital environment
- Use EPIC for perioperative documentation and order entry
- Cover adult and adolescent patients (13+ years) during surgical procedures
- Assist in high-acuity settings, including complex gallbladder and oncologic surgeries
- Ensure safety and quality in all anesthesia practices, with occasional regional anesthesia procedures (experience preferred but not required)
What You Need
Required:- CA Medical License
- DEA license (Schedule 2/2n)
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in tertiary care or high-acuity settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Experience working solo in a hospital OR environment
- Experience with regional anesthesia or interest in developing this skill
- Regional anesthesia expertise (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Trauma experience
- Experience working with adult and adolescent patient populations in hospital and outpatient settings
About the Assignment This position offers hospital OR coverage at a leading facility in Hillsborough, California, supporting a range of general and high-acuity surgical cases. Providers will be floated across multiple sister sites, working independently with support from CRNAs, and will be integral to the perioperative team. The role involves Day shifts with flexible scheduling, and the environment emphasizes quality patient care and professional collaboration.
