Seeking an experienced anesthesiology physician ready to provide high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. - Licenses/Certifications: CA medical license, board certified or eligible in anesthesiology, DEA with Schedule 2/2n, BLS, ACLS (AHA)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in anesthesiology, recent practice at tertiary care centers preferred

What you'll do:
- Provide anesthesia care for high-acuity (ASA 3+) inpatient surgical cases, including complex abdominal and oncologic surgeries
- Support solo anesthesia practice in hospital OR, occasionally working with CRNAs
- Float between sister facilities including Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Ortho Institute, Parnassus, and Burlingame
- Cover both inpatient and outpatient procedures (no cardiac, liver, or neuro cases)
- Prepare and manage perioperative documentation using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and support staff
What you need:
- Active CA medical license with DEA (Schedule 2/2n)
- Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology (fellowship trained preferred)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience at tertiary care hospitals
- Comfort working solo in high-stakes environments
- Experience in regional anesthesia preferred (not required)
- Good communication skills and ability to adhere to credentialing timelines (60-90 days)
