CNC Machinist II

CNC Machinist II Kurt Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team at within our Machining Division in Fridley Minnesota. The CNC Machinist II is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating numerically controlled machine tools. This role involves performing a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive workpieces, ensuring close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications. Shift/Hours: Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3am and Fri 2:30pm-11pm Shift Differential: Second shift employees are eligible for a 20% shift differential on top of base pay. Compensation The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $30.24 to $40.32. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education. Essential Functions Work from programming instructions, operational data and machine set up instructions defining and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings. Check parts for conformance to specifications. Operators may be required to run more than one unit simultaneously Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures.
