Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform inventory control transactions within the MRP system, including:
• Process and maintain accurate inventory records and data entry activities.
• Research inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies within the MRP system.
• Review planning and inventory information to support material availability and operational requirements.
• Assist with receiving, raw material inventory, finished goods inventory, hardware inventory, and internal shop transfers.
• Maintain electronic records and filing systems for inventory, shipping, and operational documentation.
• Support packing and shipping activities as workload and business needs require.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and inventory personnel to ensure timely and accurate material movement.
• Follow established inventory control procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, material handling, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with an MRP/ERP system preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Working knowledge of inventory control principles and material transactions.
• Ability to accurately enter, maintain, and audit inventory data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with computer systems and data entry.
• Ability to independently manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing business needs.
• Willingness to support various operational functions and departmental priorities as directed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift and move materials up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.

The successful candidate is highly dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This individual excels at administrative and transactional inventory work, is willing to assist wherever needed, and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records while supporting overall plant operations.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 40 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
