Steiner Summer Internship Program
The Steiner Summer Internship program is designed for undergraduate students looking to launch a career in the electrical distribution industry. Through hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship, participants develop the sales and technical expertise needed to support contractor and industrial customerswhile building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.
What You'll Do
As a participant in our summer internship program, you will rotate through key areas of the business and gain real-world experience, including:
- Supporting sales and operations teams in day-to-day activities
- Learning product applications and technical solutions
- Assisting with customer quotes, orders, and project coordination
- Building relationships with contractor and industrial customers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve customer needs
Program Highlights
- 3-month structured development program (June-August)

Career Outcomes
The Summer Internship program is a 90-day program for rising Juniors/Seniors to develop foundational industry and sales or technical skills and evaluate for participation in our college development program upon graduation. The program will consist of three possible tracks: Contractor Sales, Industrial Sales, or Technical Product Specialist.
Qualifications
- Junior or Senior in undergraduate program
- Strong interest in sales, business development, or technical products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
