BESS & PV Solutions Sales Manager - DACH (all genders)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solar PV solutions. Conduct site assessments (remote or on-site) and feasibility studies. Prepare technical proposals, system designs, and cost-benefit analysis. Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations to clients. Assist in tender preparation and respond to RFPs/RFQs. Mid-Sales Engagement Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process. Customize solutions based on evolving client feedback and site-specific constraints. Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to validate system configurations. Support contract negotiations with technical inputs and risk assessments. Solution Sales & Product Strategy Stay updated on the latest solar PV and BESS technologies, inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling complementary products (e.g., energy storage, EV chargers). Collaborate with product development teams to refine offerings based on market trends and customer feedback. Support marketing with technical content for brochures, datasheets, and case studies.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field. Experience in solar PV system design, sales engineering, or technical support. Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD). Strong understanding of grid-tied and off-grid systems, inverters, and battery storage. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Fluent in German and English, other European languages are preferred. Willing to travel frequently (≥30%).
