Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician Paid RBT Training Available for Qualified Candidates Silver Spring, MD | Serving Maryland & Washington, DC Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Clinic-Based, Home-Based & School-Based Services Evening Availability Preferred (4:00 PM-7:00 PM) Launch or Grow Your Career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Behavioral & Educational Solutions (BES) is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Already certified as an RBT? We'd love to hear from you. Not currently certified? We can help you get started. BES provides the required 40-hour RBT training for selected candidates. Employees who are not certified at the time of hire must be willing and able to obtain their RBT credential within 90 days of employment. Important Requirement Experience working directly with children is required. Applicants must have prior childcare experience such as: Childcare or daycare Teaching or teacher assistant roles Paraprofessional positions Camp counselor experience After-school programs Early childhood education Special education support Nanny or babysitting experience Youth programs or coaching Other professional or structured experience working with children Candidates without childcare experience will not be considered. Position Summary As an RBT or Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement treatment plans, teach new skills, support behavior goals, and help children make meaningful progress in their daily lives. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Psychology Education Special Education Child Development Social Work Counseling Behavioral Health Human Services Responsibilities Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills Support positive behavior development and behavior reduction goals Collect and record accurate session dataComplete session notes and documentation promptly Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other service providers Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Previous childcare experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation Ability to travel to client homes, schools, or clinic locations as needed Ability to pass required background screenings Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire if not already certified Preferred Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field Service Locations Services are provided in: BES Clinic in Silver Spring, MD Client homes throughout Maryland and Washington, DC School and community settings Why Join BES?
