Position Overview Senior Project Management Specialist – Spacecraft Products Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)/Space Mission Systems (SMS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to join Boeing’s Common Products Group in El Segundo, California, in direct support of Government and Commercial Spacecraft Products. As CAM IPT Lead, you will manage daily project execution for Antenna Subsystems and Passive Microwave Devices programs; perform estimates at completion, coordinate and communicate with all required functions & suppliers from early program proposal through final flight delivery; and deliver subsystem hardware to the factory floor on‑time & within budget. Strong communication and organizational skills are critical, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate across functions, and proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities. Responsibilities Lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change‑driven activities in accordance with project management industry standards. Conduct studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), produce reports, risk assessments, and planning efforts to determine impacts and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives. Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning, and refine the business case. Develop and establish lead time requirements. Facilitate and ensure integration of project/program plans, schedules, change and baseline management, applying best‑practice processes and techniques. Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies. Apply willingness to stretch beyond experience and take calculated risks to achieve objectives. Work 100% onsite; maintain ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required) and the ability to obtain an interim or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post‑Start. Basic Qualifications 1+ year of experience in program or project management partnering with cross‑functional teams on projects and initiatives. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). Experience in a role that required making calculated risks in a dynamic & fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with satellite antenna subsystems and the antenna subsystem lifecycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, procurements, assembly, integration, & test). Experience with passive microwave devices in a space environment. Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Field. Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. Knowledge of and experience with Program Management Best Practices Level 4 & 5 (5+ years of related work experience or equivalent).
