Job Description:

• This position provides high-level administrative support by independently completing complex administrative and technical tasks to support the Council's manager and work team.
• Position is to assist the claims department by distributing the work to the appropriate claims representative and other administrative duties as assigned.

Required skills:

• Claims related background is helpful because we have work comp and liability claims. Ability to answer and direct phone calls, faxes, etc. Customer service skills essential.

Including :

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and follow through
• Able to display independent judgment, initiative, and organization
• Able to perform under limited supervision, recognizing when guidance is needed
• Ability to be flexible and professional in a variety of work environments (peak workloads and stressful circumstances)
• Ability to interact and work with people including all levels of internal and external customers.
• Experience working and collaborating in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive environments
