You will collaborate with senior attorneys while developing your own litigation skills and client management experience.What You'll DoAssist with all phases of civil litigation matters from case inception through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal documentsConduct legal research and prepare case analysesManage discovery, including document review and productionParticipate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnessesCollaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategySupport litigation planning and case management initiativesWhat You BringJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar admission or eligibility for admission2–6 years of civil litigation experience (1 year of litigation experience will also be considered)Experience with professional liability, securities, employment, or complex commercial litigation preferredStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsDeposition, motion practice, and courtroom experienceStrong organization and case management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple assignments while working independently and collaboratively
