Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for LVN/LPN in Alaska!

- Position : Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Specialty : Long Term Care (LTC)
- Experience : Minimum 1 year required; previous travel experience a must!
- Start Date : ASAP

Shift Details :
- Work Schedule: 4x12 or 3x12 variable shifts (traveler's choice)
- Shift Times:
- Nights: 19:00 - 07:30
- Days: 07:00 - 19:30
- Note: Caregivers will not rotate between night and day shifts, with occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs.

Contract Duration :
- Choose between a 26 or 13-week assignment.

Patient Ratios :
- 1:20, ensuring quality care for residents.

Requirements :
- License : Must have an active Alaska license in hand.
- Certifications : BLS required; Alaska Food Worker Certification obtained on-site during orientation (one-time $10 fee).
- Skills : Experience in Long Term Care is essential.
- On-Call : No on-call requirements.

RTO Restrictions :
- No more than 2 weeks of requested time off for a 26-week contract.
- Must be willing to work at least 2 of the major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
- All RTO must be submitted with application; late requests will not be considered.

Facility Information :
- Type : Long Term Care Facility
- Total Staffed Beds : 40
- Parking : Free on-site parking.
- Transportation : Facility will provide a shuttle to and from Anchorage at the beginning and end of the assignment. Local shuttle available in Seward for transportation needs.
- Scrub Color : Any.

Important Notes :
- No locals accepted: Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Pending licenses will not be accepted.
- Traveler can be called off for up to 1, 12-hour shift every 2 weeks.
