Your culinary leadership experience can make an impact in healthcare. Morrison Healthcare is looking for a hands-on Sous Chef to partner with our Executive Chef and help lead a busy kitchen. You’ll bring great food to the table, develop the team behind it, and help create a dining experience that matters to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. Healthcare experience is welcome, but it is not required. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead food preparation and service while keeping quality, flavor, and presentation high. Coach cooks and other kitchen team members across stations. Set clear expectations and help people grow. Work alongside the Executive Chef on menus, ordering, inventory, production, and new culinary programs. Keep an eye on food and labor costs without losing sight of the guest experience. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and make food safety part of the daily routine. Jump in, solve problems, and help the team deliver when the pace picks up. Partner with the broader team to meet the needs of patients, visitors, and staff. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 3–5 years of culinary experience, including experience leading or training a kitchen team. A strong background in restaurants, hotels, resorts, catering, healthcare, or another high-volume food operation. Confidence working across kitchen stations and producing consistent, high-quality food. Working knowledge of ordering, inventory, food costs, and kitchen sanitation. A hands-on, people-focused leadership style and the ability to stay calm when priorities change. Comfort using email, Excel, and other basic computer tools. A culinary or foodservice degree, or equivalent experience and training.
