Q3 Contracting is hiring dependable, safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers and Lead Flaggers to help protect our crews and the traveling public. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing traffic through active construction zones and ensuring work areas remain safe, organized, and efficient.This position is based out of our Eau Claire, Wi location and supports projects located throughout Wisconsin.Responsibilities:Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radiosSet up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.)Communicate clearly with crew members and the publicRemain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditionsFollow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulationsReport unsafe conditions to supervisors immediatelyQualifications:Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and situational awarenessExcellent communication skillsMnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training)Previous flagging experience is a plus but not requiredLead flaggers must have 1-year verifiable experience in leading a flagging teamJob Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Stand and remain alert for extended periodsWork in heat, cold, wind, and rainAbility to travel (some overnight) throughout western, central, and northern WI.Work in heat, cold, wind, and rainBenefitsHighly competitive, union wages paid weekly.Outstanding, paid-on-the-job training.Union benefits offerings (Determined by trade and location)Award winning safety programs.Overtime opportunities.Growth Opportunities.Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.Compensation: $25.80/hour based on union scale - Leads will make $1.50/hr. over Union ScaleEEO Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Third Party Agency Notice:Primoris will not accept any unsolicited resumes from any third-party recruiting agencies either domestic or international.
