Graphic Design Coordinator

SeamonWhiteside (SW+) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Design Coordinator to bring the SW+ brand to life across print and digital channels. This role will lead the day-to-day design and production of high-quality marketing materials, translating technical information and project stories into clear, compelling visuals. The Graphic Design Coordinator will collaborate with business development, human resources, technical teams, and leadership to create consistent, polished work that supports brand awareness, client engagement, recruiting, culture, and strategic pursuits. The ideal candidate pairs strong design instincts with reliable production skills, manages multiple creative requests with care, and is comfortable moving from concept development through final files. This role is primarily responsible for graphic design and ensuring consistent brand execution across the organization, while also providing support for proposal writing. This role supports all SW+ offices and is open to candidates in Charlotte, NC, or Mount Pleasant, SC. The primary work location will be determined by the candidate selected for the position. Key Responsibilities Design and produce brand-aligned marketing materials, including brochures, project sheets, qualifications packages, presentations, advertisements, event graphics, signage, social media graphics, recruiting materials, and internal communications Develop visual concepts and layouts that make complex technical content clear, engaging, and easy to navigate Create and refine templates, graphic systems, and reusable assets that improve consistency and efficiency across the company Prepare production-ready files for professional printing and digital distribution, including quality control for color, typography, image resolution, bleeds, links, and final output Edit, retouch, color-correct, and organize photography and other visual assets for use across marketing channels Maintain and evolve the company’s library of brand assets, templates, project imagery, icons, graphics, and marketing collateral Partner with marketing and internal subject matter experts to gather content, recommend creative approaches, and carry projects from initial concept through final delivery Support brand stewardship by applying company standards consistently and helping internal teams use approved templates and assets effectively Manage multiple creative assignments, priorities, review cycles, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and design quality Provide design and production support for select proposals and interview materials, including layouts, graphics, resumes, project sheets, covers, and final document assembly Proofread and review materials for visual consistency, formatting, accuracy, and overall presentation quality Coordinate with printers, vendors, and other production partners as needed to ensure quality and timely delivery Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered Experience A minimum of 2 years’ experience in professional graphic design, marketing design, or creative production experience preferred Portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography, visual hierarchy, brand application, and print and digital design capabilities Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Experience in the architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services industry is a plus Other Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, image selection, visual hierarchy, and brand systems Excellent creative judgment with the ability to balance fresh ideas and established brand standards Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent assignments and shifting priorities Clear written, verbal, and visual communication skills Detail-oriented and accurate, with a disciplined approach to file organization, version control, and quality assurance Collaborative, service‑minded, and comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback Proactive problem solver with a positive, solution‑oriented attitude Able to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft 365 applications preferred Working Environment/Physical Demands General office environment with extended periods of computer-based design and production work Activities require a significant amount of sitting at a desk and working in front of a computer monitor Interaction with colleagues, vendors, and participation in office activities 10 Company Paid Holidays 100% Company-paid Dental, STD, LTD, and Term Life Insurance Monthly Cell Phone Reimbursement Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Vision, Voluntary Term Life, Accidental, Critical Illness, Allstate Term to 100 Life Insurance, and Nationwide Pet Insurance. 401K with employer match Health Savings Account (HSA)/ Flexible Spending Account (FSA) SeamonWhiteside is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr SeamonWhiteside
