About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians’ work, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and maintain the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding required repairs and maintenance, ensure customer satisfaction and strive to meet expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess either (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) a combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
