Job Description The Insurance Telemarketer is responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients using an automated dialing system (auto dialer). The primary objective is to engage potential customers, identify interest in insurance products, and transfer interested prospects directly to licensed insurance producers for further discussion and potential sales. Follow approved call scripts and communication guidelines when speaking with prospects. Introduce the agency and generate interest in the insurance products and services offered. Identify interested prospects and promptly transfer live calls to the appropriate insurance producer. Maintain a professional, courteous, and positive attitude during all customer interactions. Accurately document call outcomes, prospect information, and follow-up notes in the agency's CRM or lead management system. Meet established daily call volume, lead generation, and call transfer goals. Follow agency procedures for handling objections, call dispositions, and prospect follow-ups. Comply with applicable telemarketing regulations, Do Not Call requirements, and agency policies regarding consumer privacy and consent. Assist with general office and lead management duties as needed. Requirements Strong verbal communication and telephone etiquette. Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls. Ability to follow scripts, work independently, and maintain productivity. Basic computer skills and ability to learn an automated dialer and CRM system. Dependable, organized, and goal-oriented.
