CNC Lathe Machinist
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist. The ideal candidate will have experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC lathes to produce precision components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and quality standards.
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with one shift only. Employees can choose from the following schedule options:
- Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No work on Friday)
- Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Equipment & Shop Environment
- CNC Equipment includes:
- 2 Takisawa CNC Lathes (2-axis)
- 1 Bridgeport Hardinge Mill (4-axis) – experience is a plus but not required
- All machines are equipped with Fanuc controls
Materials & Work Details
- Common materials: Alloy Steel 4140 and 8620
- All parts are pre-cut (slugged)
- Inspection is performed using manual micrometers and measuring tools
