South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, an award-winning winery, luxury resort, and premier hospitality destination in the heart of Temecula Wine Country, is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Restaurant Host to join our Vineyard Rose Restaurant team.

As the first and last impression of our restaurant, the Host plays a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences by warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring seamless seating and service flow.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

• Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant reservation system.

• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.

• Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and table status.

• Answer restaurant phone calls and assist guests with inquiries.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area.

• Assist with special events, large parties, and guest accommodations.

• Provide exceptional service consistent with South Coast Winery Resort & Spa standards.

Qualifications

• Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
