Together, we can changelives. Position ImmunEdge has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our growing Finance team. This individual will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations of the accounting function supporting month‑end close, accounts payable, and general ledger activities while building a strong foundation across finance operations in a fast‑moving, early‑stage biotech. Key Responsibilities Support full‑cycle month‑end close, including journal entry preparation, accruals, account reconciliations, and flux analysis Assist with recording payroll and lease‑related entries Process accounts payable, including reviewing and coding invoices, to help ensure timely, accurate vendor payments Facilitate vendor onboarding and contract and purchase‑request intake, routing documents into our contract management system Assist with year‑end audit support, including responding to external auditor requests Support employee expense and T&E processing Maintain well‑organized, audit‑ready records and documentation Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1–3 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience a plus Working knowledge of core accounting principles (US GAAP) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) Comfort with accounting systems and tools; experience with NetSuite is a plus Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills Ability to handle routine work reliably while navigating occasional nuance and ambiguity Good written and verbal communication skills Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive start‑up environment Preferred Qualifications (Plus) Progress toward CPA licensure (parts passed) Public accounting experience Experience in biotech, pharma, or another early‑stage/start‑up environment NetSuite experience Experience with AI tools (i.e. Claude in Excel) Exposure to AP automation, T&E platforms, forecasting platforms, or contract management systems Expected Salary Range $70,000 - $90,000 We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there is sometimes flexibility on job level and responsibilities.Compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity, and location.
