Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS Registered)

Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM)
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Rotating as required

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS Registered) to join a fast-paced acute care radiology department. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders
Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
Review and evaluate images for quality and diagnostic value
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for patient care
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of general ultrasound experience
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program (Military training accepted)
Associate’s Degree required
RDMS certification (ARDMS) required
Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

BLS certification
Experience in an acute care or hospital setting
