Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Plastic Pressroom/Packer Shift: 1st Shift
Starting Pay: $15 to $17
Join our team as a Production Operator for the 1st shift at our plastic manufacturing facility. We're looking for individuals with attention to detail and reliability who can work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and follow operating instructions for each job assignment before starting.
- Handle various plastic products and operate hydraulic or injection presses according to instructions.
- Inspect products for visible defects or flaws.
- Utilize hand tools (e.g., files) or finishing equipment to descale and finish parts.
- Assemble and pack products per company and customer standards.
- Maintain press operations by keeping them filled with material and placing molded parts in designated ware pans.
- Perform general clean-up tasks and additional duties as requested.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or be on your feet for 7.5 hours or more.
- Good vision, correctable with glasses.
- Comfortable working in hot/cold environments.
- Must have your own vehicle and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. for at least 5% of the time (most individual parts weigh less than 1 lb).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the plastic manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with press machines, extruders, or molding machines is a plus.
