Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights | 3x12 (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across multiple units including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma
• Operate and manage ventilators and high-flow respiratory equipment including Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, and Airvo
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas draws and processing
• Deliver care to adult critical care and high-volume emergency department patients, including trauma cases
• Adhere to weekend and on-call requirements as determined by the facility
• Float to other areas of the hospital as required

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active licensure with the Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care and high-volume ED with trauma experience
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required (November 1 – April 1; declinations not accepted)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with arterial blood gas draws, processing on GEM analyzer, and blood gas interpretation
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
