Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to support the West Texas market. Our client is an established and rapidly growing fiber-optic internet provider operating across multiple states. They provide high-speed, symmetrical fiber internet to residential and business customers. The main objective of this role is to identify potential customers, build relationships, and generate new business through door-to-door sales. This representative will cover the West Texas market, including areas surrounding Midland, Odessa, San Angelo, and Abilene. This is a heavy travel position, requiring you to be away from home up to 5 days per week. Travel expenses will be covered, and mileage will be reimbursed for qualifying trips. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM–7 PM, with most of the day spent on the road going door-to-door. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a targeted contract rate of $25/hour plus commission and bonuses.

Expectations –

Knock approximately 50–60 doors per day, depending on the neighborhood

Target 3 sales per day

Build relationships with residential and business customers

Update daily sales activity in Spotio

Commissions –

Commission is paid on deals closed at the door, as well as online orders that close within 60 days of your door activity

Once the customer is installed, you receive one month of their monthly recurring revenue (MRR) as commission. For example, an $80/month order = $80 commission

Additional bonuses are available for hitting daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, with $1,000/month at plan

Quarterly bonus opportunity for exceeding quarterly revenue targets, paying 25% of MRR for the quarter
