Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to lead and optimize our vehicle operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management, maintenance, and deployment of our fleet to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance. Your proactive approach will drive operational excellence, support logistical needs, and contribute to the overall success of our transportation services.

While prior fleet management experience is a plus, it is not required—we are eager to train and mentor motivated candidates who demonstrate a strong passion and interest in building a career in fleet operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional eager to learn, grow, and make a tangible impact on fleet performance and organizational growth.

Duties

Oversee maintenance schedules and inspections to ensure all vehicles are safe, compliant with regulations, and in optimal condition.
Manage vehicle procurement, disposal, and inventory to maintain a cost-effective fleet size aligned with organizational needs.
Monitor fuel consumption, telematics data, and driver behavior to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation laws and safety regulations.
Develop and implement policies related to fleet safety, driver conduct, and operational procedures.
Lead training sessions for drivers on safety protocols, vehicle operation, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance history, incident reports, and licensing documentation.
Collaborate with vendors for vehicle repairs, parts procurement, insurance claims, and other fleet-related services.
Analyze fleet performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
