Employment Type: Temporary — 2–3 Month Assignment
Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $20.00/hour

Overview

Dart in Morris, Illinois is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Recoup Associate for a temporary 2–3 month assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, testing, and performing minor repairs on returned, damaged, or defective appliances and parts to determine whether they can be recouped, refurbished, or salvaged. This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced logistics and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect returned, damaged, or defective appliances and parts to assess condition and determine disposition
Clean, test, and perform minor repairs on units to restore them to a usable or sellable state
Identify parts that can be salvaged or recycled and process them accordingly
Document inspection findings and disposition decisions accurately
Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with other warehouse and logistics tasks as needed

Qualifications
Prior experience in inspection, repair, assembly, or a related hands-on role preferred
Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
Ability to read and follow work instructions and documentation
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
