Director of Warehouse Operations

A leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Warehouse Operations to lead a highly automated, high-volume distribution operation supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across warehouse operations, automation, inventory management, safety, and customer fulfillment. The ideal candidate has a proven background leading large warehouse teams within food manufacturing or food distribution and has hands-on experience with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) . Responsibilities Lead all warehouse operations for a large, automated distribution facility. Manage and develop warehouse leadership across multiple shifts. Drive performance in automation, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse productivity. Oversee warehouse technology, including WMS and automated storage systems. Partner closely with Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams. Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, service, and cost. Manage labor planning, budgets, capital projects, and operational KPIs. Foster a culture centered around employee engagement, accountability, and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Current Director of Warehouse Operations or a Senior Warehouse Leader from a large-scale food manufacturer or food distributor. Experience leading warehouse operations within food manufacturing or food distribution is required. Strong experience with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) in a highly automated warehouse environment. Experience leading large, multi-shift operations with exempt and non-exempt leadership teams. Proven success managing teams of approximately 75+ employees through multiple direct-report leaders. Strong background with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, automation, labor planning, and continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
