Director of Behavioral Health

Position Overview The behavioral health nursing director provides strategic and operational leadership for nursing services within the behavioral health setting. This role ensures that delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care in alignment with organizaitonal goals, regulatory standards, and best practices in behavioral health. The direcotr oversees nursing staff, develops and implements policies and procedures, promotes staff develpment, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic treatment and recovery. Through effective leadership, the director fosters a therapeutic environment that supports that emotional and psychological well-being of patients while promoting excellence in nursing practice.
