Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to accurately identify the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students.

• Utilize interviews, direct observations, and standardized assessments to evaluate students’ mental health and formulate personalized intervention plans.

• Deliver targeted individual and group counseling sessions focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment challenges, using evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Organize and lead group sessions addressing critical topics like bullying prevention, stress management, and effective social skills development.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and school administrators to strategize and implement behavioral interventions and support for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.

• Guide students through transition planning and facilitate timely referrals to community resources and support services as needed.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention and create risk assessments and safety plans when situations arise.

• Design and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and sessions for students, parents, and staff to raise awareness and equip families with coping strategies.

Qualifications\n
