Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Maine. This position involves providing patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, following organizational policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse will oversee the shift, ensuring quality patient care and team coordination. Job Details Location: Maine Certifications: Current or soon-to-be current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licenses: Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license Experience: 0 to 3 years preferred in PACU or related acute care areas Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week Additional Requirements: Must be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task Additional Information: If the traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a decrease in hourly rate will apply Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid The organization can cancel up to 3 shifts during a 13-week contract Benefits Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID #1309048.
