Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN to provide exceptional patient care on a busy surgical ward. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing a variety of medical procedures and patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care in a fast-paced Med-Surg setting.
• Perform procedures including EKGs, venipuncture, and blood glucose testing.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient outcomes and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including safety, infection control, and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid GA RN license with current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med-Surg RN experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week, including rotating weekends.
• Capable of floating to similar units as needed.
• Proficient in using standard medical equipment and documentation systems.
