Respiratory Therapist

Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies. Completes documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness, such as charting, billing, and patient/family education. Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies. Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
