The assignment includes 13 weeks of work with a night shift pattern and a 36-hour per week guaranteed schedule. The role requires prior travel experience and ED-specific certifications, with Meditech electronic medical record experience as a key requirement. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,387–$2,505 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM Setting: Hospital-based travel assignment Required: Meditech experience; prior travel nursing experience Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, continuous assessment, and prioritization of care. Administer medications, IV therapies, perform phlebotomy as needed, and monitor patient responses. Recognize and intervene in life-threatening situations; respond to emergent codes and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; may assume duties as charge nurse when assigned. Document clinical findings and care using the MEDITECH electronic medical record; ensure accuracy and timely updates. Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals as appropriate; manage transitions of care.
