Per Diem Pharmacist | Glendale, Arizona

A retail pharmacist position is available for a reliable professional to provide urgent backfill support in the Phoenix, AZ area on a per diem basis. This role requires a motivated pharmacist to work two days per week, ideally Wednesdays and Thursdays, through March. The work schedule is from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., supporting a team consisting of one pharmacist and three pharmacy technicians with a daily prescription volume under 100.


Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications prescribed by providers, ensuring patient allergies are verified beforehand.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and in line with organizational policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients and customers.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth daily operations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with the Pioneer Rx system is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
