Position Overview We are seeking a Manufacturing Fitter for a client in Anniston, AL. This role involves assembling, fitting, and aligning metal components and structures based on blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, experience with fabrication tools, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Fit, align, and assemble metal parts and structural components Prepare materials for welding (measuring, cutting, grinding) Ensure proper fit-up to meet specifications and tolerances Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (tape, square, level) Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before and after assembly Assist welders and fabricators as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Follow all safety policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of fitting, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and perform basic shop math Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Experience with structural steel or metal fabrication Familiarity with welding processes (MIG, TIG, or FCAW) Ability to tack weld is a plus Experience using fabrication tools (grinders, torches, saws) Understanding of measurements and tolerances Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Requirements Must pass a measurement test Must pass a drug screen and background check Steel-toe boots required Pay & Benefits (Through CloudRay) Weekly Pay Health Insurance Incentives & Performance-Based Bonuses Referral Bonuses Temp-to-Hire Career Growth Opportunity Referral Bonus - Earn $200!
