HR MANAGER: Location: Greater Minneapolis- St. Paul Area Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Type: Full-time (on-site) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist / HR Business Partner to join our manufacturing team on-site. In this role, you will serve as a key business partner to our plant operations team, driving employee engagement, refining onboarding/training programs, and taking a creative lead on recruiting skilled technical talent. Key Responsibilities Operational HR Leadership: Act as the primary HR point of contact for plant management, supervisors, and production employees. Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Lead recruiting efforts for hard-to-fill technical roles (e.g., CNC Machinists, Technicians, Engineers). Utilize creative sourcing methods including trade programs, technical schools, sign-on bonuses, and relocation packages. Process Improvement & Training: Develop and enhance onboarding, employee training programs, clear promotion pathways, and career development tracks. Payroll & Benefits Support: Provide day-to-day frontline support for basic employee payroll and benefits inquiries (backend processing is managed by our central corporate team). Employee Relations: Support positive workforce engagement, performance management, and shop-floor communications. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment (Required). Recruiting Expertise: Proven track record of sourcing and hiring hard-to-fill technical/blue-collar skill sets using non-traditional strategies. Onboarding & Training: Demonstrated success in developing or improving structured onboarding and employee development programs. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of plant operations. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience recruiting for CNC machining or machine shop environments. Familiarity working within an ISO 13485 or medical device quality system. #J-18808-Ljbffr
