Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:
Looking for M-F 10am- 6:30pm and 12pm - 8:30pm , with flexibility to work weekend days once trained. Experience is entry level. Principal accountabilities • Prepares and accurately determines metal content and other properties of matrix materials. • Applies established instrumentation or analytical methods, to support refining, catalyst and chemical production, development, and/or other JM departments. • Compares instrument performance and/or assay results with standards, reporting any deviations from specifications to a Senior Level Chemist or Laboratory Supervisor, and independently initiating corrective action as required. • Prepares and maintains proper analysis documentation, including summarized test data and procedures. • Uses all laboratory equipment safely, cost effectively and accordingly to job requirements. • May be responsible for the management of hazardous wastes in the lab. • Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work area. • Assist with document tracking and maintaining quality assurance. • May perform other related assignments as determined by the immediate supervisor.
