Job: Finance & Legal Operations Coordinator

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Onsite: 3x in office per week

Hourly Pay: $40-$50/hr., depending on experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

 

Our dynamic client is looking for a highly organized individual with strong cross-functional collaboration skills to join the team and assist with daily investor communication and ad hoc projects. This is a contract role with the opportunity to extend.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage investor communications, maintain and update the investor database in Microsoft Access with a high level of accuracy, coordinate inbox activity, and provide general office administrative support.
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, bank reconciliations, basic accounting entries, and prepare and proof investor reports using Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Quicken, and Expensify.
• Partner with management team on streamlining and automation initiatives.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, finance or accounting classes or major a plus.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in legal, venture capital, private equity, or compliance would be preferred.
• Experience with AI tools and an interest in automation.
• Strong Excel skills; QuickBooks, Access, or other database experience a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
