Company Description Turning Points Educational Solutions provides comprehensive assessment support services for individuals from ages 3 through adulthood. Role Description This part‑time SLP role is a hybrid position with a combination of on‑site sessions and some work‑from‑home responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to provide neurodivergent affirming assessment and ongoing services at both our Willow Glen and Redwood City locations. The SLP will conduct private and IEE evaluations, write assessment reports, and provide direct therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults with a range of communication, language, social skills, and executive functioning needs. The ideal candidate will also be trained in Orton‑Gillingham based methods, the Visualizing & Verbalizing program, executive functioning, social communication, and other approaches to address comprehension, oral/written expression, autism, and ADHD needs in addition to receptive/ expressive language, articulation, apraxia, etc. Strong collaborative, communication, consultation, organization, and self‑initiation skills are required for this position. In addition to connecting with clients and families, this role also involves consultation with educational therapists, coaches, and counselors to support clients’ success in academic and daily life settings. The SLP will maintain accurate records, uphold ethical and professional standards, and participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Speech Therapy and the assessment and treatment of Speech and Communication Disorders. Experience working with individuals with Language Disorders, including expressive and receptive language challenges. Knowledge of evaluating and managing Dysphagia and related swallowing concerns, where applicable to the caseload. Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) or eligibility. Valid California Speech‑Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain) and adherence to state and professional regulations. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Experience supporting neurodivergent individuals (e.g., ADHD, autism) and familiarity with educational settings is necessary.
