Lead Interior Designer

Job Summary Lead Interior Designer (Washington, DC)
- Oversee luxury residential interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Lead and guide a design team, managing timelines, deliverables, and design standards.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to set creative direction and project vision.
- Develop and review space plans, design concepts, FF&E selections, and custom furnishings.
- Present design proposals and updates to clients, ensuring alignment with expectations.
- Mentor junior designers and assign project tasks to support staff.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for project execution.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and installation planning.
- Identify and resolve project risks and issues promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of luxury interior design trends, materials, and products.
- Support process improvements, documentation standards, and team best practices.
- Attend industry events, vendor meetings, and product trainings as required.
- Requires a degree in Interior Design or related field, 6+ years of experience, and strong proficiency in design tools and project management.
