A local school district is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide expertise and compassionate services to school-aged children. This contract position runs through the end of May 2027 and is open to both part-time and full-time candidates, offering flexibility to fit your lifestyle. The role is predominantly onsite, though a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) is possible, allowing you to maintain work-life balance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State Licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or be an Associate School Psychologist
• Possess a School Psychologist license from the board of examiners of psychologists
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Excellent assessment, counseling, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological and academic assessments for students
• Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support as needed
• Participate in intervention planning, progress monitoring, and parent meetings
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and school policies
• Adhere to all onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting and registry list searches
