A contract-based opportunity is available for a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to work onsite within a vibrant educational community near Irving, TX. This position plays a vital role in collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to foster students’ academic, social, and emotional success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist licensure
• Educator Credential: School Psychologist license issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
• Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide reliable assessment, intervention, and consultation services
• Familiarity with the latest special education procedures and regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student psychological assessments and interpret results for individualized education program (IEP) planning
• Provide direct and indirect counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to develop strategies for student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain detailed, compliant student records and documentation
• Contribute to positive school climate initiatives and staff development programs
