Quick Facts Location: 5801 Bremo Road, Richmond, VA 23226 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: ASAP until permanent candidate onboarding Shift: Full-time, Mon-Fri + Call (1:6 ratio) Hours per week: 40+ Employment Type: Locum-to-Perm License/Certs: Board-Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology Experience: Relevant inpatient/outpatient cardiology experience required Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric patients Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You’ll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in various settings using EPIC EMR Perform and interpret Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other non-invasive procedures Collaborate with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to develop patient care plans Support coverage during recruitment, ensuring excellent patient service Supervise other healthcare providers as required Manage a typical clinic load of about 10 patients per day and inpatient admissions of 12-15 per day What You Need Board certification in Cardiology (Non-Invasive) Valid Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain Minimum of several years’ cardiology experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This position is at a reputable hospital in Richmond, offering a dynamic environment for inpatient and outpatient cardiology care.
