Quick Facts Location: St. Louis, MO Start Date: 04/20/2024 End Date: 04/19/2027 Shift: Day 4x8-Hours (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM) Hours/week: 32 hours Employment Type: Contract/Permanent potential Licenses/Certs: MO & IL State Licenses preferred; Board Certified in Genetics required Experience: 2-5 years in genetics or related field Vaccines: Mandatory flu vaccination Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $156.00/hour Benefits: Competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, supportive team environment, malpractice insurance, license reimbursement, and potential for permanent placement What You’ll Do Conduct general genetics evaluations across outpatient and inpatient settings Manage biochemical and metabolic disorder cases Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including genetic counselors and nurses Participate in inpatient consults in PICU, NICU, and pediatric wards Use EPIC EMR for charting and documentation Assist with patient education and genetic testing coordination Support clinical decision-making to improve patient outcomes What You Need Current Board Certification in Medical Genetics Valid Missouri and Illinois medical licensure or eligibility BLS certification 2-5 years of relevant experience, especially in genetics and metabolic disorders Strong diagnostic skills and ability to collaborate effectively Ability to provide telehealth services (preferred IL license) About the Assignment Join a prestigious pediatric hospital in St. Louis, MO, renowned for its comprehensive specialty programs, including cardiology, neonatology, oncology, gastroenterology, and neurology.
